 The Flat-Lid Rule

Bins must be loaded so the lid closes completely flat. Overfilled bins attract pests, create litter, and may not be serviced by your city’s waste collection provider. To ensure reliable service, please avoid overfilling your containers.

No Side Waste
Bin Ready services only city-issued trash, recycling, and yard waste containers. We do not transport loose trash bags, cardboard boxes, bulk items, or materials placed beside or on top of bins. Bin Ready is a curbside valet service, not a junk removal or trash hauling company.

Weight & Safety Limits
Bins must be reasonably movable by a single operator. Containers that are excessively heavy or unsafe to move may be left in place if servicing them would create a safety risk. This policy helps protect our team and prevents property damage.

Clear Path Access
The path between your bin storage location and the curb must remain clear of obstacles such as vehicles, construction materials, debris, landscaping equipment, or other hazards. A safe, unobstructed route allows us to complete service efficiently and safely.

Locked Gates & Access
If your bins are stored behind a gate, fence, garage, or other barrier, they must be accessible during your scheduled service window. Any required gate codes or access instructions must be provided in advance. If we cannot access your bins, we cannot complete service.

Loose Pet Policy
Dogs and other animals must be secured away from the service area during our service window. This protects your pets, our operators, and your property while service is being performed.

The Service Window
Bins are generally placed at the curb the evening before your municipal collection day and returned after collection has occurred. Exact service times may vary due to route conditions, weather, holidays, traffic, or other operational needs.

Photo Verification
For quality assurance and service verification, Bin Ready may photograph bins before and after service. These photos help confirm service completion and assist in resolving any customer concerns or disputes.

City Collection
Once your bins have been placed at the curb on time, Bin Ready’s service obligation has been fulfilled. We are not responsible for municipal collection schedules, route changes, equipment failures, delays, or missed pickups by your city’s waste collection provider.

Pre-Existing Damage
Bin Ready is not responsible for damage that existed before service, normal wear and tear, damage caused by municipal collection equipment, hidden defects, or failures resulting from aging or deteriorated bins.

Contents of Bins
Customers are solely responsible for everything placed inside their containers. Bin Ready is not responsible for lost, damaged, discarded, or misplaced items that have been placed in trash, recycling, or yard waste bins.

Weather & Safety
Service may be delayed, rescheduled, or temporarily suspended during severe weather, flooding, icy conditions, hurricanes, or any situation that creates unsafe working conditions. The safety of our customers and operators always comes first.

Holiday Schedules
Municipal holiday schedules may change collection days and service timing. Whenever possible, Bin Ready follows your city’s published holiday collection schedule to ensure uninterrupted service.

Service Compliance Notice

If Bin Ready is unable to complete a scheduled service because bins are inaccessible, gates are locked, pets are not secured, pathways are blocked, containers exceed safe weight limits, or any other service requirement is not met, the stop will be considered an attempted service and is non-refundable. Service will automatically resume on your next scheduled collection date once the issue has been corrected.
